The post-war surge in college enrollment, driven by the GI Bill, led to an urgent need for expanded facilities at universities and colleges across the nation. Klinger’s stellar reputation and vast experience positioned them perfectly to meet these high-demand projects, all on tight deadlines and budgets. From the 1940s through the 1960s, Klinger completed numerous construction projects for major institutions, including Briar Cliff College, Morningside College, Mount Marty College, Iowa State University, University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa, University of South Dakota, Simpson College, and Ottumwa Heights College.
