William A. Klinger establishes W.A. Klinger, Inc., setting the foundation for over a century of construction excellence. What started as a small local venture would soon transform the Midwest’s skyline with innovative projects and unmatched craftsmanship.

Klinger's early masterpiece, the Warnock Building (now Benson). This project was Mr. Klinger’s first in Sioux City, and was constructed for his father in law.  The building was a engineering marvel and featured six stories of cutting-edge design, and had the largest indoor elevator west of the Mississippi. This project was the just the start of Klinger’s long standing value of customer service, it was an example of construction of a building to suit a business, rather than adapting a business to a building.
