Klinger Fast-Tracks Central Baptist's New Facility for a Christmas Opening
When the congregation of Central Baptist Church outgrew its old facility located in the middle of a residential neighborhood, the decision was made to look for a new site that had room for current as well as future growth needs. After purchasing a 40-acre site on Outer Drive in Sioux City, the congregation hired W.A. Klinger to fast track the construction of the new facility. Grading started in August. By working closely with the Owner and design firm, all foundations were in and steel set by the time cold weather advanced. The congregation moved into the new facility early the following December and was able to celebrate Christmas services in the new facility.
The worship center features a special acoustically designed sanctuary. The room features a unique and unconventional arrangement of chairs and pews to better accommodate the facility’s multi-use design.
